I'm just looking for some opinions on this subject... Might make a big influence on how things get done come next year... Trying to get more trucks to show up for the heavy class because it seems to be dieing out... The light classes are starting to take over!! Believe it or not, but I miss seeing tugs with lots of diesel smoke!!

8000 might draw a few more single cabs in but that also cuts out alot of other trucks too :dunno When your truck only weights 6500 empty its hard to scrape up enought weight to get to 9500 but people like cari cant make 8000 with trucks like her F-450

It would be hard to drop much weight off the heavy class. I know alot of the 4 door dually ford diesels weigh in around 8500 with the fuel light on and no tailgate. 9000 would be the lightest to keep the trucks you have now i think.

but maybe a 8000 pound class for the trucks weighing over 6500 but not wanting to put 3000 pounds on there truck to make 9500. I know my 97 with the cummins in it weighs in at 6470, i pulled in the heavy class but i think you may get more trucks like mine in the 6500-7500 ibs range trucks to hook. And by doing this you may beable to get some trucks to hook two classes 8000 and 9500
