a little over 100,000mi. my front cardine joint is starting to sqeek a little,, has anyone replaced this joint with a regular high clearance u joint?? or is it worth replacing the factory joint??

I have done one.....from then on I take them to Custom Clutch and let them do it. If the stock on made it 100K I would just go back with the same style.

we use custom clutch exclusively at work. never had any problems,, but they gave me a little run around the last time.. idn what they were doing wrong but in under 8,000miles i had to pull the shaft 3 times!!! none of which would they cover under warranty because it was over 30 days each time... a little ridiculous i thought,,, :dunno

I ended up having Premier replace the cardine joints with high clearance u joints, and the cost was actually less than the replacement of the cardine joint...

might end up giving C.C. a call ..

i am just looking to gather opinions and information on what some of you guys have done on your own vehicles,

I've never had an issue with the Canton store....hmm...I understand why you'd be leery then.
